We participated into a big tender to supply furniture items necessary to equip the Head Office of Zumba Fitness in Miami. Created by the Colombian choreographer and dancer Alberto Perez in the 90's, Zumba Fitness became popular and famous all over the world quite soon, due to its capacity to enhance the wellbeing of the people practicing it. Nowadays over 15 milion people in more than 185 countries of the world take Zumba classes.
Subject to the development of the company, they decided they need a space that not only offers specific representation, but also provide modern and ergonomic working conditions for its full-time employees.
Therefore, in early 2011 we took part in the tender to supply furniture for its new headoffice. After a relatively short process and a fierce selection between major furniture supply companies, we were able to enter the final round against Hermann Miller. We won the tender to supply all furniture, while Hermann Miller supplied the chairs.
The project itself was supplied in 2 major steps: 3 full load containers delivered in May-June 2011, while the remaining one container was supplied in September.
After the order of the products, we were able to supply and install, from Italy, more than 250 working stations in 7 1/2 weeks, which was sooner than local american suppliers like Steelcase, Hermann Miller, Haworth or Teknion.
Client was extremely happy and our relationship with them stays very close since they order from time to time additional products to us.
